A Wonder Of Nature (poetry)

What should I write about today?

Do I write about sunshine?

Or summer skies of blue?

 

What do I have to say?

Do I talk about winter grays?

And fog and clouds and chilly mornings?

 

Where do I let my mind wander?

To field of green and running rivers?

Or bare trees and fallen leaves?

 

I think, instead, I’ll think of you.

The warmth of your love,

the glow in my heart,

the heat of our passion.

I’ll bask in the glory of you

 

For you,

you are a true wonder of nature.
